Our tails are wagging with excitement… why? Because we are jumping into the 2020-2021 school year with a new addition, our PS Academy mascot! Get used to seeing this stout character frequently as our furry friend’s face is the star of the show when it comes to all PS swag.
Our students have been asking for a mascot for a while now, and we’re thrilled to have settled on a bulldog. Why did we choose this breed? Well, the characteristics of a bulldog are similar to what makes the students at PS so special.
If you’ve ever met a bulldog, you know they are fun, dependable, and strong dogs who love to be around others. They're known to be loyal, courageous, and energetic. Sometimes, this dog’s energy makes them stand out among the crowd. People love them for the joy they bring, their determined attitude, and lifelong friendships and unbreakable bonds they create with their families and friends.
Will you help us name our mascot? Calling all students! Please submit your ideas here! The deadline to submit names is August 7th! Each student can submit their one favorite name. PS staff will vote and pick the winner, then it will be announced on social media!
